Over the course of a dinner, three generations of the Wahid family sit for their weekly reunion at an Arabic restaurant. While the night starts casually, it progresses into something out of the ordinary. Nothing can be swept under the rug and kept there forever. It is left to each family member to decide how to get through the night, while grasping to preserve what is left of their rocky relationships.

In Her House follows four siblings of half-Igbo descent gathering to clear their late mother's home. As the space fills with memory, myth, and the weight of things unsaid, what unfolds is a charged exploration of family, identity, and what it means to come home when the person who held it all together is gone.
