The Liminal Theatre Collective is a New York City-based ensemble of multidisciplinary artists dedicated to developing and producing new and reimagined works by artists of color. Our work interrogates the spaces between tradition and change – breaking from established constructs to catalyze dialogue and transformation.

Through comprehensive, community-based programming and initiatives, we are cultivating the next generation of diverse theatre makers while redefining the stage as a space for collective connection, empowerment, and access for all.

FIRST DRAFT SERIES

We are accepting applications for our next First Draft Series!

Our First Draft Series is a program designed to support new works in their earliest stages of development. These mini workshops offer playwrights and devising teams a structured environment to explore, rehearse, and share their work with collaborators and audiences, focusing on the creative process rather than formal production.

If you or someone you know are an emerging creative who would like to have a new work developed from page to stage, we invite all artists to apply to our First Draft Series by filling out this form to submit your work. We especially encourage BIPOC artists to share their voices and creations with us.
